Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On May 2, 2010, The Cumberland River flooded parts of Nashville after a record-breaking weekend storm dumped more than a foot of rain in two days, rapidly spilling water into homes, roads and some of Music City's best-known attractions including the Opryland Hotel , the site of our 2010 conference. We have been successful in obtaining a wonderful alternative site, Embassy Suites-Cool Springs.
The dates remain the same, July 7-11, 2010.
If you have room reservations at the Opryland you will be contact by Opryland and receive a full refund and should reserve immediately at Embassy Suites. Our cutoff date is June 5,2010. Everyone should register now.
Thanks to those who sent kind words of concern and offers of help. A new preliminary program will be emailed soon. We are expecting most of Nashville and its attractions to be up and running by our dates. See you in Nashville!
The Southeast region of The William Glasser Institute is happy to invite you to the 2010 International Conference. Tune into choice theory in Nashville, Tennessee, from July 7-10, 2010.
Nashville is within 600 miles of 50% of the United States population, providing extreme accessibility, whether by air or surface transportation. The International Airport serves 16 airline companies with Southwest Airlines as a featured discount carrier. Accessing Nashville by interstate intersects three major interstate highways: I-40, I-24 and I-65.
A symphony of ideas, new to this conference, will be think-tank collaborative learning opportunities and vendor presentations. The program committee is working hard to design useful, innovative workshops. Link to the call for proposals and submit yours before April 1st.
Our Youth Institute Does Double Time with two tracks this year due to the increasing number of participants. There will be both a kids’ track (ages 7-12) and a teen track (ages 13-17).
Significant Others can Tune in to Choice Theory by attending Basic or Advanced Week Training on-site! Plan to make the conference a family affair.
You will be able to Register on-line and pay your fees using your credit-debit card or PayPal. Registration forms are available for download on this site. Should you choose to pay by check (US bank check only) and remit your registration by mail.
Ya’ll come on down!
